The New Recruit – Final Submission Complete!
Stick a fork in it folks, this one’s done! Phil and I are absolutely pumped about the way The New Recruit turned out and have submitted our final product for review. The places and prizes will be announced on July 3rd, but until then I (and I’m sure Phil as well) will be celebrating a job well done. It was a long and certainly the most challenging development I have done so far. Since the game is essentially a collection of six completely different games the project required a lot of planning, tons of balancing…basically all the tweaking and polishing and design/balancing that you need to do on a normal game x6…
But the thrill of achievement is always worth the pain of getting there and this is no exception. I do not know when or if this game will be made available to the general public, if we win the game will certainly be available at some point in the not so distant future. However, if we don’t win I don’t know what the fate of the game will be or whether it will see the blinding light of the never-ending day that is the Internet. I will keep you updated on all the latest via this site of course. Hooray!
